Leasing

What are the rental eligibility requirements?

Stanford Rental Homes are a mixture of apartments, condominiums, and single family homes. These rental properties are available only to eligible persons. Please see the Rental Housing Program's Eligibility Criteria for reference. 

All rental leases require an annual recertification of eligibility.

What if my position at Stanford becomes part-time?

You will be allowed to remain in your rental home until the expiration of the lease. The lease will not be renewable. 

What about rent increases and lease renewals?

Upon signing a lease, the rental rate is guaranteed for the term of the lease. A lease renewal will be subject to a rental rate change based upon the prevailing conditions. Lease rates vary by property based on property characteristics such as condition, location, floor plan, amenities, etc.

Does Stanford Rental Homes allow pets?
